AMT, an ERP solution by Orion announced their congratulations to Castlewood Apparel Corporation for their recognition by Apparl Magazine as one of the key visionary firms shaping the Apparel Manufacturing industry. Castlewood was recognized for their savvy use of technology to enhance their business processes due largely to the integration of AMT.

Having recently scaled up in size, Castlewood was looking for software that provided better flexibility and functionality over all areas of apparel. Realizing their need for a well-rounded ERP, PLM and finance system that would handle everything from style creation to customer invoicing, they decided on AMT, a best in class ERP solution by Orion.

“With the growth of our company, we simply needed to find software that provided us better flexibility and functionality over all areas of apparel,” said Brian Pincus, MIS Director, Castlewood Apparel Corp.

AMT appealed to Castlewood for many reasons including its “retail apparel logic”, “communal updating”, and its connectivity with WebTech PLM and Great Plains financial software. AMT has provided a cleaner and more reliable way to bring in sales orders and guarantee accuracy of both incoming and outgoing information. With exceptional EDI capabilities Castlewood has a more accurate inventory count and better communication with its warehouse, which has led to a 25% increase in turnaround.

AMT’s comprehensive design comprises Enterprise Resource Planning, Product Lifecycle Management, Supply Chain Management, Electronic Data Interchange, Manufacturing Resource Planning and Warehouse Management Systems.
