The world’s first cloud computing solution provider for the fashion industry – WFX is partaking as gold sponsor in Soft-Tex 2012 – the global online trade fair, which showcases the world’s widest variety of IT solutions for the textile, apparel and retail sector.

Soft-Tex 2012 is an initiative from fibre2fashion, the world’s largest global textile, apparel and fashion B2B portal. It is an effort to help the IT sector to showcase their software and solutions to a focused audience and present IT solutions as an asset rather than an expense.

WFX is showcasing solutions designed exclusively for the textile, apparel and fashion industry which help maintain a centralized database of product/order information, which is accessible anytime, anywhere and with a reduced sourcing cost. It can collaborate on-line across offices and factories.

It provides a simple and effective costing method with in-built budget controls, which helps reduce material cost. Production tracking tools increase output and reduce costs associated with product delays, labor, etc.

It is also possible to manage and track critical tasks and identify and resolve delays faster. It offers complete accountability performance analysis in costing, budgeting and execution of orders.

The solution being completely web-based removes the need to invest additionally in hardware, software or maintenance. Moreover, it is fast to implement and scale.

WFX was nominated as a “Top 100 Innovator” by Microsoft & NASSCOM and has 10,000 users across 14 countries. Its ‘Technology Excellence Centre’ is located in Gurgaon, India and in order to provide cutting-edge solutions, it has made huge investments in R&D.

The WFX team has fashion domain specialization and expertise and by means of using ‘Cutting Edge Web-Based Microsoft Dot Net Technology’ and 24x7 global support, is in a position to provide the best solutions for the global textile, garment and fashion sector.
