Tagsys Fashion-item Tracking System on display at NRF show

TAGSYS RFID, leading provider of item-level inventory management systems that streamline the supply chain, will be showcasing on Booth #2643 the unique benefits of its complete, item-level inventory management system at the National Retail Federation’s (NRF) Big Show, January 13-15, 2013 at the Jacob Javits Center in New York.

The centerpiece of its display will be FiTS (Fashion-item Tracking System), the only integrated RFID system specifically developed for the apparel and retail industries that provides 100% visibility throughout the supply chain - reducing costs, accelerating replenishment cycles, and increasing sales.

The TAGSYS offering is an easy-to-deploy systems based on its innovative UHF RFID hardware and e-Connectware software to monitor inventory at each step in the supply chain. The FiTS system provides a centralized management dashboard that delivers detailed real-time information on product availability, shipment status and retail inventory levels.

With the TAGSYS system, companies can quickly adapt product distribution and replenishment strategies to meet specific market and store needs, reducing item handling costs and physical storage area, and improving sales opportunities through reduction of out-of-stocks.

Among the highlights of the TAGSYS demonstration are:

-Fast and accurate tracking of goods from distribution center to retail environment

-Patented technology to enable small-sized tags capable of RFID-enabling a wide range; of goods such as jewelry, shoes, and other accessories that have traditionally required oversized tags;

-Integrated cloud-based software that provides an efficient, scalable dashboard to monitor inventory at any location, and is interoperable with existing business systems;

-Tangible business benefits through the system’s ability to rapidly provide 100% item visibility

-Demonstrations of integration with leading-edge NFC retail technologies from Think&Go (in the TAGSYS booth) and retail management software solutions from CEGID (Booth #2533)
