Computer Generated Solutions (CGS), a leading global supplier of technology solutions and services, announced they will be sponsoring “The Fashion Business: Past, Present & Future" – a completely unique and exclusive educational industry event that will explore how the fashion industry is constantly evolving, from traditional methods to present day with its global challenges and expected future developments.

Taking place at the London College of Fashion on February 22nd, this invitation-only event for top fashion brands, retailers and the next generation of industry leaders will feature guest speakers from leading retailers, industry experts and select panel members as they share best practices, exchange ideas and develop strategic relationships.

“We are thrilled with the response we have received for this event,” said Paul Magel, President of the Applications Solutions Group for CGS. “At CGS we pride ourselves on having our finger on the pulse of the fashion and apparel industry and this event certainly reinforces that. It would not be possible, however, without cooperation from our attendees – some of the most brilliant minds and leaders in the industry today.”

Guest speakers include Ben Hanson, Event Chair and Editor of WhichPLM, Mark Harrop, CEO of WhichPLM, Damian Hanson, CEO of One iota Ltd, consultant and fashion industry Expert, Morag Ashworth and Managing Director at Future Forward Consulting, Sjors Bos. Also scheduled to participate in a panel discussion with the aforementioned speakers are Caroline Nodder, Editor-in-Chief at Drapers and Maureen Hinton, R&A Director at Verdict Research.

Key topics to be discussed include how modern developments are influencing design and product development, new methods of sourcing, omni-channel and how it is shaping the way retailers operate, the role of mobile devices and their impact, web based technology and consumer engagement through ecommerce and social media.

CGS has been serving the fashion and apparel industry for nearly 30 years and their signature product, BlueCherry, is an award-winning enterprise apparel software solution designed to meet the needs of the apparel, footwear, and accessories market.
