Jesta I.S., a global leading provider of enterprise business solutions for the apparel, footwear, and accessories industries, announced that Body Central Corp., (BCC), a multi-channel specialty retailer, offering on-trend, quality apparel, jewelry, and accessories for young women, has selected Jesta I.S.’ Vision Suite to support its strategy of moving to a complete omni-channel environment.

In deciding to implement Jesta I.S.’s system, Body Central will utilize the Vision Suite to power their enterprise with one unified solution, thereby establishing an omni-channel view for both BCC and its devoted customer base. With new goods arriving weekly, and a maximum turn time of approximately 16 weeks for any given garment, BCC must keep merchandise moving swiftly out the door.

Vision Merchandising and Vision Planning systems will streamline retail operation processes and power BCC to remain in-step with their fast-fashion consumers. Leveraging Vision Analytics will provide BCC with sophisticated breakdowns of all their products, and simplify strategies via refined BI data.

“One of our biggest goals was streamlining all of our systems into one integrated solution across Body Central. Jesta I.S. delivers on that initiative,” said Chuck Carstens, SVP & CIO, Body Central Corp. “The Vision Suite will dramatically reduce man hours and manual tasks from our operations allowing us to focus on key drivers and strategies that keep our customers happy.”

With 40 years in operation, Body Central is an expanding, multi-channel retailer of apparel, footwear, jewelry, and accessories in over 280 locations throughout the United States. With the rapid pace of store openings, and plans to expand its geographical footprint, Body Central required a solution system that could sustain this aggressive growth strategy.

A key deciding factor for BCC, in selecting Jesta I.S., was the solution’s integration and scalability. Upon implementation, Body Central will have an end-to-end integrated system delivering greater ability to analyze retail strategy and unprecedented visibility over merchandising decisions. The Vision Suite will support Body Central’s growth throughout the US.

“Body Central has a passionate team leading the growth and expansion of its business in the United States,” said Moris Chemtov, President of Jesta I.S. “We are excited to be part of that team and provide an experienced platform that will optimize operations while maintaining a single, comprehensive source of consistent and accurate data across business functions and locations.”
