SkyeTek, Inc., the leader in embedded RFID reader modules, announced its plans to launch its inventory and asset management software platform, MetaFi.

"I'm excited to have this software suite, to offer a solution to our current customers and to explore new industry segments," said Josh Peifer, President of SkyeTek.

MetaFi is a turn-key, hosted software solution that complements SkyeTek's existing RFID reader hardware. It is designed to provide manufacturers, distributors and retailers, real time field inventory information. Users are able to customize their experience with product types, locations and event alerts through the robust tool kit, to provide the most useful information to their business and in turn, to increase profitability.

"This is a great asset, and now is the time to reinvest and let our customers realize its full potential," said Daniel Frydenlund, Group Chairman of FKR Acquisitions. "The market demands an asset management solution that doesn't take months to customize and deploy, can be configured by the user, and can be set up in a couple of weeks. That is exactly what MetaFi offers."

MetaFi is designed for businesses big and small, managing any type of asset, from a variety of locations. It can be customized for yard management, vendor managed inventory, consigned inventory and field maintenance. The solution consists of several components: hosted MetaFi server, MetaFi web based console, mobile MetaFi agents and the hardware to scan the inventory. With these tools, users can access their data from any web enabled device or computer and obtain real time visibility into their supply chain.
