CGS, a leading global provider of technology solutions, announced that The Dessy Group has chosen BlueCherry Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Microsoft Dynamics SL to replace their current system and help manage their rapidly growing business.

Established in 1939, The Dessy Group (originally known as A&M Rosenthal) is a leading manufacturer of bridesmaid dresses, social occasion, flowergirls, and destination wedding gowns under the labels Dessy Collection, After Six, Alfred Sung, and After Six Wedding Dresses. As a result of their swift growth, The Dessy Group looked to find a new vendor and more robust solution that could accommodate their pressing business needs.

“We felt BlueCherry was unequivocally the best fit for our business and the measurable results we continue to achieve today validate that decision,” said Alan Dessy, CEO of The Dessy Group.

“BlueCherry ERP’s ability to save us valuable time and automate manual processes while supporting multiple currencies were critical features that we coveted. Those far-reaching capabilities really showed us that CGS is at the forefront when it comes to technology for our industry. That combined with their extensive experience and expertise in the fashion vertical was a one-two punch that we just couldn’t ignore.”

With a BlueCherry ERP implementation that was delivered on time and under budget, The Dessy Group has been able to automate many of their previously manual processes while gaining full control over customer orders, deliveries, planning/production, materials, and finished goods. In addition, Microsoft Dynamics SL has helped them fully manage finances and resources, while improving business efficiency and managing complexities.

“Customer satisfaction has always been the chief priority at CGS,” said Paul Magel, President of the Application Solutions Group at CGS. “As The Dessy Group grows their business, they will continue to achieve business and supply chain integration and full visibility of all of their processes with BlueCherry ERP. Additionally, our proven and experienced support team will be there to assist them every step of the way and help guide their business well into the future.”
