Lectra, the world leader in integrated technology solutions dedicated to industries using soft materials—fabrics, leather, technical textiles and composite materials announces a new strategic partnership with Spectraflow. Spectraflow is a leading provider of color workflow solutions for apparel design, graphic arts and print professionals.

Founded in 2003, Spectraflow has provided color management solutions to some of the most prominent names in apparel design including Abercrombie & Fitch, Kohl's, Old Navy and Nordstrom. "We have learned that apparel designers have color problems unique to their world," adds Clark Omholt, President of Spectraflow. "Whether a company needs an inkjet printer to match custom fabric swatches under non-standard lighting or is using multiple printers that must closely match one another, Spectraflow has a solution designed to address today's most pressing color management challenges."

"Effectively managing color development, the colorway process and color communication are critical for fashion companies today as consumers continue to demand new and fresh collections," comments Roy Shurling, President of Lectra North America. "Lectra's design solutions support designers in achieving the most efficient and creative textile and style designs. As we all know, it's crucial for a designer to maintain color accuracy throughout the design process, and our technology gives designers the tools to select, create and apply seasonal color palette throughout a collection. In turn, Spectraflow's services enable companies to achieve color consistency and accuracy with monitors and printers, and across locations.

"Through this partnership, Lectra and Spectraflow will bring comprehensive solutions to the industry, working in sync to help leading fashion companies achieve consistent and controlled color throughout the design process, from conception to production. By delivering an optimized process, we ensure designers are able to focus their efforts on what they do best—being creative."
