A+ School & Career Apparel, one of the leading apparel companies based in Arkansas, US, has planned to install NGC Software’s fashion Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software, BusinessWire reported.

The apparel company has also planned to use the software’s modules for Costing, Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA), and Product Testing. The fashion PLM software will help A+ School & Career Apparel improve work collaboration and workflow management.

PLM is a flexible, collaborative platform that can be deployed as a stand-alone product development solution or an integrated application within an enterprise.

NGC’s fashion PLM software helps increasing the marketing speed of goods with great workflow. It will help improve the performance of the manufacturing company by using product development calendars, which will keep a check on the time schedules and performance.

The PLM software will help reducing the cost of goods sold through price negotiations and capacity planning. It will help reduce sampling costs by establishing product viability prior to issuing sample requests.

The unique features of NGC’s PLM software such as exception management, product testing will help A+ apparel streamline its design and production processes. NGC’s software will also help A+ School & Career Apparel achieve its main objective to deliver the highest quality garments and provide remarkable customer experience and support to each buyer.

The president of sales, marketing and R&D, NGC Software, Mark Burstein said, “A+ School & Career Apparel is known for exceptional customer service and its longstanding commitment to the school uniform market.” “We are honored that A+ School & Career Apparel selected NGC, and we look forward to a successful rollout of our fashion PLM software,” he added.

NGC Software has been providing PLM, Supply Chain Management, Fashion Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and Shop Floor Control software and services for brands, retailers and consumer products companies for over 30 years. NGC customers include A|X Armani Exchange, Aeropostale, Billabong, Carter’s, Destination XL, Hugo Boss, Jos. A. Bank, Spanx, Swatfame, VF Corporation, and many others.

A+ School & Career Apparel, is a leading apparel company specializing in superior school uniforms, career apparel and image-wear, headquartered in United States of America.

Using a PLM software, a fashion designer can work on a garment’s specifications exclusively. It helps a manufacturer to quickly and easily view a product details, the latest version, last modified details and helps overcome manufacturing errors, when a manufacturer handles hundreds of garments at a time, all at different levels of developmental stages.(GK)
