Technology for body measurement from Human Solutions

Human Solutions has provided the entire range of technology for the procurement and analysis of Spanish serial measurement project data. The project was carried out by the Institutio de Biomecanica de Valencia (IBV) on behalf of the Spanish Government's Health Department.
Within a five-month period from September 2007 to January 2008, more than 10,000 women of all age groups were measured in 59 locations throughout Spain – using six Human Solutions 3D Body Scanner systems.
The first results of the project will be available as early as the end of February 2008, thanks to the 3D serial measurement software ANTHROSCAN, which makes digital measurement data immediately available and provides users with a wide range of analysis options.
The follow-up project will address the serial measurement of Spanish men. Since the body scanning systems are identical, the data procured in Spain is fully compatible with that of the German serial measurement program SizeGERMANY, which is currently in progress.
German apparel manufacturers with a Spanish market presence will find this especially useful in their calculations of sizes and market ratios.
