Baekgaard selects Kineticsware, Microsoft Dynamics

Kineticsware, a rapidly growing provider of enterprise software for consumer goods manufacturers and distributors, announced that Baekgaard, a designer, manufacturer and wholesaler of fine women's handbags and accessories, as well as men's business and travel bags and accessories, has selected Kineticsware for Consumer Goods, powered by Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009, for complete transformation of its business management systems.
Baekgaard, owned by Vera Bradley co-founder, Barbara Bradley Baekgaard and Art Mandelbaum, needed a complete set of business applications for its aggressive growth plans.
The company is at a turning point with growth in the organization, expanding product lines and new distribution channels.
With additional investment and an expanded management team, the company examined opportunities to improve operational efficiency and customer service from inbound supply management and sourcing, through category management, new electronic distribution channels, outbound order fulfillment, and customer relationship management.
After reviewing other software solutions, Baekgaard selected Kineticsware for Consumer Goods, powered by Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009.
The solution includes a full ERP (enterprise resource planning) suite with financial management, customer relationship management, and supply chain management along with integrated solutions for warehouse management and e-commerce.
