RF-iT Solutions GmbH, Austria, is a technology savvy company which provides RFID solutions to the textile and garment industry. Recently the company implemented a RFID based solution for German manufacturer Seidensticker, which is a producer of blouses and shirts.

This RFID solution is being implemented to support and strengthen the supply chain management function of Seidensticker. The technology will support the production operations in Eastern Europe and Asia, the pre-picking operations at the manufacturing units and movement of goods at the company.

At a later stage Seidensticker will also review whether the RFID solution would be adaptable to control in retail operations too. The benefits that the company is expecting to reap from implementing the technology is increased simplification of process, cost transparency, greater control on stock quantity and movement and the last but not the least customer satisfaction.

"We are pleased about the cooperation and are convinced that the resource optimizations expected are realized at the end of the project", says Dominik Berger, Managing Director of RFiT-Solutions GmbH.

RF-iT, on its part has a test laboratory, which helps it to conduct live stimulations related to the project and deliver solutions from the experience gained from these pilot projects. RF-iT Solutions provides systems integrators with comprehensive technology consulting, serving them as a technical backbone.
