The Navispace AG is expanding its international activities and will be presenting the world leading platform for “Wearable Technologies” at ispo china in Beijing from February 19th to 21st 2009.

The Asian market is predestined for Wearable Technologies. Mobile high-tech devices are an absolute necessity, especially in Japan and Taiwan. Therefore, the sports and fitness markets will have increasing interest in such products. Bluetooth headsets in relationship with Bluetooth mobile phones and Bluetooth heart rate monitors are just one example of possible product applications.

“With the presentation of our WT Platform in China we will achieve a wave of innovations in mobile end devices for the sport, fitness and wellness sectors. The Asians have been especially successful in the field of navigation and monitoring in the sport world and have already developed solutions that we cannot imagine”. (Christian Stammel, CEO Navispace AG)

Current technology trends on the Asian WT market are applications revolving around the theme of the “Body Area Network”. It is here in particular where the Bluetooth SIG with its low energy standard will be presented. In addition to the themes of communication and cross-linking, topics like outdoor-navigation for athletes, intelligent materials such as electro-conductive textiles for heating and flexible solar panels for self-sufficient power production for mobile phones and mp3 players will play a central role.

With the initiation of the Wearable Technologies Show, from Navispace AG, ispo china will offer a unique environment for the marketing of new technologies in the sport and lifestyle sectors. The Wearable Technologies Show provides comprehensive a presentation platform for currently available WT products and is at the same time a networking event that brings innovative suppliers of technologies and the sport and lifestyle industries together.

ispo china is the leading B2B platform for sport, fashion and lifestyle brands in Asia. Taking place now for the fifth time and with an increasing number of exhibitors, ispo china offers nearly 25.000m² of exhibition space and the possibility to position products and companies in Asia.
