3D Body scanning:
Various methods are used for scanning the human body. Data thus collected provides real time information to the apparel industry wherein clothes can be manufactured with labels attached, mentioning the bust, waist and hip sizes thereby guiding the consumers to select clothing with a perfect fit.

Virtual try on software:
Virtual try on solutions are also available to the consumers wherein a virtual image is shown of the screen showing the consumer; how they would appear wearing a particular garment.
