GSI Commerce Inc, a leading provider of e-commerce and multichannel solutions, announced a multiyear extension of its e-commerce agreement with Bath & Body Works, a division of Limited Brands. Under the agreement, which runs to 2015, GSI will continue to provide Bath & Body Works' online store with e-commerce technology and fulfillment services.
“Our online retail store is an essential part of our business,” said Sharen Jester Turney, CEO and president of Victoria Secret. “We are very pleased to extend our e-commerce agreement with GSI as they helped us grow our direct-to-consumer business beyond our initial expectations. The Web store, along with GSI's fulfillment operations, consistently delivers an unparalleled online shopping experience for our customers.”
“Bath & Body Works is a well-respected market leader and we are very excited that they have chosen GSI as their long-term e-commerce partner,” said Michael G. Rubin, chairman and CEO of GSI. “We look forward to our continued successful relationship as they grow and evolve this important retail channel.”
Bath & Body Works launched its online store on GSI's e-commerce platform in fourth quarter of 2005.
