RAE Systems Inc., a leader in producing innovative sensor solutions to serve industrial, energy, environmental and government safety markets worldwide, has delivered 10 custom-configured AreaRAE Wireless gas-detection Rapid Deployment Kits with wireless, LifeShirt Personnel Management Systems and 100 GammaRAE 2R radiation detectors to a Kuwaiti government unit involved in homeland defense, disaster management and HazMat response in the Persian Gulf.

The keys to selecting AreaRAE Rapid Deployment chemical and radiological threat detection kits were the all-in-one detection capabilities, the seamless integration of RAE Systems and third-party products using RAE Systems' proprietary wireless backbone, and RAE Systems' references from similar teams in the U.S., Europe and Asia-Pacific.

"Our product innovation and leadership continue to secure wins from first responders worldwide," said Michael Jorgensen, RAE Systems Middle East regional sales director. "Our AreaRAE Rapid Deployment chemical and radiological threat detection kits provide real-time, life-critical information about toxic, combustible, and radiological threats. Combined with the LifeShirt, incident commanders know the status of their personnel as well."

RAE Systems is a leading global provider of rapidly deployable sensor networks that enable customers to identify safety and security threats in real time. RAE Systems' products are used in over 85 countries by many of the world's leading corporations and by many U.S. government agencies.
