Lawson Software announced a new channel partnership with Conigent, a U.S.-based provider of enterprise software sales and consulting services. Under this partnership, Conigent will offer the Lawson M3 Enterprise Management System to general manufacturing and distribution companies in the United States. Conigent brings more than 10 years of experience in project management, software selection, systems integration and training in the enterprise resource planning (ERP) space.

The Lawson M3 Enterprise Management System is an ERP system designed around the needs of companies in manufacturing, distribution and equipment service management. Within the system, Lawson offers industry-specific functionality for firms in the fashion and food and beverage industries.

“We are pleased to expand our channel relationships with yet another partner because we can offer more choice to our customers,” said Jeff Farris, strategic alliance manager for Lawson. “Lawson is focusing more intensively on the core markets that we serve. For customers and partners, this gives them access to solutions that are designed to better meet their industry-specific needs and helps protect and optimize their technology investments.”

“This channel partnership is very exciting. The Lawson M3 system provides meaningful value in the marketplace,” said Ameet Shah, president of Conigent. “Conigent has been steadily increasing our capabilities to lead implementation and optimization, and we have seen excellent results for clients in a variety of operational scenarios.”
