Lawson Software inks deal with S.A. Outsourcing
May '09
Lawson Software announced a new channel partnership with S.A. Outsourcing, a technology and business solutions provider based in Southern Africa. Under this partnership, S.A. Outsourcing (the South African operations of Enterprise Outsourcing) will focus on selling the Lawson M3 Enterprise Management System to companies in the Southern African region. This partnership aligns with Lawson's strategy of furthering business development in emerging markets.

The Lawson M3 system is an ERP system designed around the needs of companies in manufacturing, distribution and equipment service management. Within the system, Lawson offers industry-specific functionality for companies in the fashion and food and beverage industries.

“We are very excited at the prospect our partnership with Lawson holds. The company is a forerunner in providing quality ERP solutions and aligning these to overall business strategy. The pressures of a challenging economy have caused many companies to rethink their priorities and focus on cost reduction. With best-in-class products and solutions, the SA Outsourcing and Lawson partnership will undoubtedly help to bolster competitive advantage for its clients, while enhancing operational effectiveness and, most importantly reducing costs,” said Pedro Viudez, CEO of S.A. Outsourcing.

“By teaming with S.A. Outsourcing we have found a partner who shares in our mission to make our customers stronger,” said Fady Sfeir, vice president of EMEA Channel Partners for Lawson. “The company has the core technologies and business competencies which will help Lawson drive growth to the mid-to high end markets across Southern Africa,” Sfeir concluded.
