Xterprise Incorporated, a leader in item-level RFID solutions for retail, announced the availability of an item-level source tagging and box packing / shipment visibility solution for retail suppliers. The application is part of its Clarity Advanced Retail System (ARS) suite of retail offerings and helps round out its highly acclaimed in-store ARS application by providing assistance to apparel and specialty retail suppliers that are under increasingly stringent requirements to move to item-level source tagging over the next 2 years.

Unlike other solutions in the industry, Clarity ARS provides RFID source tagging & serialization, source tagging quality control, item-level ASN creation, shipment verification and seamless integration with existing retail and supply chain enterprise systems to ensure accurate, timely and efficient inventory management across the supply chain. Currently deployed at multiple retail and supplier sites, Xterprise plans to extend the application suite to Sporting Goods, Electronics and Media retailers and suppliers.

"We have seen a significant increase in demand for item-level retail systems, specifically from the headwaters of the supply chain, the suppliers," said Dean Frew, CEO of Xterprise. "As large retailers begin to require RFID item-level tagging, forward thinking suppliers are leveraging the power of Clarity ARS to drive process change and strong ROI in the store."

To help retailers and suppliers navigate this new level of inventory management and drive as much value as possible, Xterprise has developed a list of consultative elements to help suppliers determine what application features and system integration elements best match their needs. A proven industry solution backed by an ecosystem of industry leading partners, Clarity ARS creates value for suppliers by increasing speed to market, seamlessly integrating with existing enterprise systems, providing comprehensive reporting and analytics and easy to use operational dashboards.

"Based on our experience and market indicators, we see demand for item-level system exploding over the next 24 months," said Frew. "Our Clarity source tagging solutions for retail suppliers combine our industry experience and leadership in case and pallet source tagging in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) market, with our powerful item-level retail store solutions to support this new level of inventory management."
