Underscoring the demand for e-commerce solutions that leverage video as a driver to purchase, Cinsay, Inc., the integrated media and software company, announced that it will provide its proprietary e-commerce platform and merchandising services to several IMG licensing brands.

As a result of its partnership with IMG, Cinsay will develop, operate and maintain branded digital retail stores for IMG licensing brands to deliver highly customized, branded, e-commerce experiences to each of these companies' diverse customer bases.

Cinsay's technology platform, a proprietary video-player and software application, allows intellectual property owners to build comprehensive branded content and e-commerce environments that leverage the extensive reach of the social web and the engagement power of rich media video. Because the video player can be embedded and syndicated, it has the ability to spread content and merchandise on a customer site or throughout the online universe, ultimately maximizing the opportunity for transactions and revenue.

Commenting on the announcement, Michael Gottsegen, VP of Licensing and Retail Development at IMG, said, "Cinsay enables retail and lifestyle brands to deliver innovative and rich e-commerce experiences that maximize the power of video and are uniquely portable anywhere on the web. What's more, Cinsay offers an array of turnkey services that allow a company to quickly and seamlessly monetize their licensed properties and grow brand equity through innovative merchandise."

Matthew Papish, President and CEO, Cinsay, Inc., said, "We are extremely pleased to join forces with IMG as we continue to add powerful brands to our growing portfolio of partnerships. By offering clients private branded technology that allows customers to discover, share and purchase digital content, consumer products and branded offers from anywhere on the web, we believe Cinsay is creating transaction opportunities at every point of media engagement and ultimately changing the way companies monetize online media. Essentially, the Cinsay platform helps turn a viewer into a buyer and a buyer into a shopper.

"We look forward to working with IMG to deliver highly customized, branded, e-commerce experiences to each of these companies' diverse customer bases," concluded Papish.
