EzTextiles, LLC has launched EzTextiles.com, the world's largest online digital library of royalty-free, production-ready textile designs for the apparel, textile, home fashion, accessories and other textile-related industries.

The new online service offers immediate access to more than 25 million fully editable woven plaids and stripes, prints, and knit designs. Other patterns and designs such as vintage, graphics, photography, and textures are also planned for the site. New designs will be continuously added to each of these categories as fashions evolve.

Importantly, the first-of-its-kind site also provides tools that enable visitors to apply the patterns and designs on any of the more than 500 provided sketches and product photos to better visualize and evaluate the design on an end product.

Subscribers to the service can also visualize the EzTextiles.com patterns and designs on their own sketches or photos when they upload their custom images to a secure folder in the system. The EzTextiles service works with most popular PC and Mac internet browsers.

Created as an easy-to-use and affordable design solution, the online service will streamline the creative process, enhance product innovation and reduce product development costs. It is expected to appeal to a wide range of designers, merchants, stylists, colorists, mills, students and others that utilize textile designs for inspiration and new product development.

By making CAD-ready images available at the click of a mouse, EzTextiles.com eliminates the traditional, time consuming and costly practice of traveling all over a city, or across the country, to locate and buy designs for each new season or product line.

Because the designs are available as production-ready, high resolution (300dpi) editable images, the hours of time and expense of converting a hand-painted design into a digital format for re-coloring is no longer necessary.

EzTextiles images can be viewed and edited in virtually any fashion-specific or off-the-shelf CAD design software including Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator and used in popular CAD/CAM, PDM and PLM software systems. Merchants and others that use Microsoft Office applications can conveniently insert these images into their line sheets, trend boards, and reports to enhance communication within their organizations.

The creative force behind EzTextiles.com is New York-based CAD studio/service bureau Sano Design Services. In development for the past six years, EzTextiles.com benefits from the fifteen years of real-world fashion industry experience that founder John Sano brings to the table.

“Our vision was to create a user-friendly and cost-effective design tool that can be used by a wide range of people; from design students and freelancers to senior designers and merchants at the largest corporations”, noted Sano. “Ultimately, we want to expand to encompass as many design categories as possible.”

Visitors to the ExTextiles.com site can freely view and search all designs, build a personal collection, and visualize designs and patterns on product sketches or photos. After downloading their first three images free of charge. All images are conveniently organized by image type (plaid, stripe, print, knit, etc.) and can be searched by category, season, color, and design complexity.
