The event showcased various tools being used by The University of Georgia's students in the Design and Merchandising areas, as well as, the work students are completing and research they are conducting. Attendees were also informed of the support The University of Georgia has received from The Georgia Soft Goods Educational Foundation, which has included the funding of faculty to teach new courses in global sourcing and apparel manufacturing to funding the Distinguished Professorship in Soft Goods Merchandising and Manufacturing along with other initiatives.
