AVT Inc has partnered with Ironclad Performance Wear to supply automated retail vending units, designed to be placed in workplaces throughout the nation for the distribution of Ironclad Performance work gloves and apparel.
The Ironclad Vending Program allows workers to purchase task-specific performance work gloves and apparel right at the job or work site, thus reducing down time, while at the same time increasing productivity and safety. Ironclad will supply products to a partner vending machine fulfillment company, which will have the responsibility for maintaining, supplying and managing the vending machines.
AVT was selected by Ironclad to design and manufacture the machines, which include AVT's patent-pending TSV (Touch Screen Vending) and VendPerfect technologies that enable system operators to receive real-time reports on the unit's transactions, cash and credit card payment details, and supply status.
"We looked at several vending manufacturers to find a company that could build a machine which would meet our needs," according to Ed Jaeger, Ironclad Founder. "We selected AVT because we were impressed with their hands-on management style and technical abilities."
Shannon Illingworth, AVT founder, commented on the Ironclad self-service automated units. "The Ironclad vending system represents the future of on-premise retailing. Companies like Ironclad can increase their distribution and bring their products direct to their customers in a remarkably efficient manner, provide the utmost in convenience, and receive a positive return on investment."
Ironclad is well-known for their industry-leading performance safety and work gloves, designed around task-specific applications.
AVT Inc is a leading developer of automated and self-service retailing systems, and is the innovator of VMS and TSM technologies that have become the standard for the industry.
