iCongo Inc, a leading e-commerce platform provider offering B2C, B2B, multi-channel, order management and marketing systems, announced that Gildan, a world leader in the manufacturing and marketing of branded activewear, has selected iCongo's e-commerce platform to manage its enterprise website and product catalog, extending the company's global digital presence while supporting its worldwide objectives in sales, marketing and customer service.

With iCongo's enterprise content management system and product content management (PCM) solution, Gildan's enterprise site will offer an easy-to-use online product catalog available in multiple languages to enable global business customers and consumers to effectively search and browse localized product catalogs. Additionally, Gildan.com will support multiple micros-sites; further increasing brand awareness and global sales.

“iCongo's solution will enable Gildan to strengthen its digital presence around the world and support our company's goals to provide an enhanced customer experience” said, Don Johnson, Director IT Business Solutions, Wholesale. “As a leader of quality apparel across five continents, Gildan requires a platform that meets our requirements for effectively reaching our target audience with consistency on a global scale. iCongo's platform will provide the foundation that will enable us to move forward into our next phases of growth.”

The iCongo solution provides a scalable platform that is future-ready should Gildan look to expand its sales channels and markets down the road with cross-channel e-commerce, as well as B2B order processing and fulfillment management. The easy-to-use PCM system is flexible and simple to manage for non-technical merchandisers, eliminating the need for web programming each time a change is required.

“We are pleased to add Gildan, the foremost company in its class, to our growing list of prominent and well-known companies,” said Irwin Kramer, CEO at iCongo. “Our solution provides the advanced online merchandising, interactive tools and content management functionalities that multinational enterprises need to support global web initiatives.”
