Sage North America announced Harry Rosen Inc, a Canadian retail chain of 16 high-end men's clothing stores, has captured 40 percent market share with a customer-focused sales strategy that has included Sage SalesLogix and Sage SalesLogix Mobile since 2003.

Harry Rosen Inc. has 700 employees accessing a customized Sage SalesLogix CRM system via the web and mobile devices to track clients' clothing preferences and make accurate purchase and service recommendations. Videos regarding Harry Rosen Inc.'s Sage SalesLogix use and a Q&A with CIO Steve Jackson are now available.

"My father originally maintained note cards containing his clients' clothing preferences," explained Larry Rosen, Chairman and CEO of Harry Rosen Inc. "His detailed and honest approach to analyzing data, understanding customers' needs and advising them in a positive manner to earn their trust continues to guide how we do business today. We've taken his vision into a modern age with the aid of Sage SalesLogix, while maintaining his customer experience standards."

Most Advanced CRM System in Retail Today, Says Harry Rosen CIO

Harry Rosen sales associates share data between 16 Harry Rosen stores and segment the chain's customers by purchase preferences including how often each shops, average purchase price and brands most often purchased to provide the recommendations most likely to assist customers and increase sales.

"Sage SalesLogix lets us service our clients to the fullest extent. Our point of sale, merchandising and e-commerce systems are all integrated with Sage SalesLogix, so we can really pinpoint and respond to customer needs," added Jackson.

Associates also use Sage SalesLogix to schedule tasks such as suit tailoring and customer satisfaction follow-up calls, as well as for sending service and order pick-up reminders.

"We see a lifelong relationship with Sage SalesLogix," Jackson continued. "We are able to give our sales associates a tool they cannot get at any other retailer and our clients an experience they keep coming back for. Hands down we have the most advanced CRM system in retail today."

Harry Rosen Inc., Canada's premier men's wear retailer, was founded in 1954 by the man whose name the chain still bears. Harry Rosen Inc. has grown from a single 500-square-foot store in Toronto to become a powerhouse in Canadian retailing with 16 stores across the country, accounting for 40 percent of the Canadian market in high-end men's wear.
