Investigationand Development of Bamboo Charcoal Yarn For Enhancing Comport PropertiesSynthetic Yarn


Abstract


The newest concept in the world of fashion is eco-friendlytextiles. There is a rapid increase in the usage of sustainable fabrics.Eco-friendly clothing is not only a positive step towards saving theenvironment, but also easy on the skin. In today's society, environmentprotection and health have become the pursuit of modern people. Researching andproducing textile healthy for human have become a kind of fashion and as aresult, functional textile becomes the mainstream in market. The fashion worldis constantly seeking and latching onto new materials. One of the hot items isfabrics made from traditional materials, such as bamboo. Bamboo charcoal ismade of bamboo culms and waste material from bamboo processing. On one hand,bamboo charcoal not only provides a new way to utilize bamboo, but alsobenefits to environment protection by reducing the residues pollution. On theother hand, bamboo charcoal is a kind of environmentally functional materialwhich has excellent absorption and friendly properties to environment. Theproduction of bamboo charcoal will promote the sustainable development ofeconomy and ecology. This present study focuses on Nanotechnology inducedenticement to develop renovating fibers with the advantages of both cotton andsynthetics. The properties and performance of textile fibers are essential tofabric manufacturing and utilization. It was observed that the bamboo charcoalpolyester blended with bamboo charcoal rayon had excellent UVprotection, IRemission and comfort properties compared with other categories of fabric understudy.
