Dr. John Stephen Pearson

Dr. John Stephen Pearson is the Head of the department of Design, University of Huddersfield, UK. He is highly qualified and holds many degrees like BSc, MPhil, PhD, C Text FTI and C Chem MRSC. He is teaching a vast variety of subjects including Textile Finishing, Textile Testing/Quality Control, Product Evaluation, Fibre Technology, Dissertation Preparation and Research Methodology.

His research interests involve Flammability of Textiles, Textile Finishing, Chemical Treatments on Wool, Foam Treatments of Textiles, Diversified Uses of Jute, Environmental Disposal of Textile Waste and Developments in Textile Education. He has around 15 publications to his credit.
