Dr. Sarita Kataria completed her M.Sc. in Textiles and Clothing follwed by Ph.D. from Lady Irwin College, Delhi University with title of the research being “Costuming Process in Indian Cinema: Contemporary Aspects”. She was also qualified for Junior Research Fellowship, U.G.C. in 2000 and NET, U.G.C. in 1999.

Currently Dr. Sarita is working as a Guest Lecturer in the Fashion Design Department of Jagan Institute of Management Sciences, Rohini and Centre for Research in Art of Film and Television, Rohini. She has conducted few seminar presentations on Contribution of Costume Designers and Significance of Costuming Aspects.
