Professor Richard Wilding

Richard, a European Chartered Engineer, did his doctoral research while at employment at the University of Warwick, which earned an international media coverage including BBC World Service and was published in celebrated articles as well. Presently, he is a Professor at the Centre for Logistics and Supply Chain Management, at the Cranfield School of Management. He also works in co-ordination with International European companies on logistics and supply chain projects, and delivers regular presentations at Industrial Conferences.

Richard is a chartered member of Institute of Engineering and Technology (Manufacturing Division), and the Institute of Logistics and Transport Directors Forum. He is also a member of Institute of Logistics Research Network, and Higher Education Academy. His areas of interests are creation of collaborative business environments, reducing supply chain vulnerability and risk, time compression and techniques for aligning supply chains to maximize customer value and reduce cost.
