For instance, a designer could virtually drape fabrics and experiment with various patterns before physically producing a garment. Additionally, AI’s data analysis capabilities provide insights into consumer preferences and emerging trends. Imagine an AI system analysing social media data to identify rising colour palettes or design motifs. This data-driven approach empowers designers to create collections that resonate with the current fashion zeitgeist, enhancing market relevance.

How has Gargee Designer’s evolved over the last four decades, and what has been the biggest milestone in that journey?

Over the last four decades, Gargee Designer’s has continuously evolved through our unwavering commitment to refined menswear, a legacy begun by my father, Shyam Gupta, in the '80s. Taking the helm in 2013 was a significant turning point for me and the brand. Under my leadership, we have thrived as a premier Indian menswear label, expanding from a small team to now boasting over 100 dedicated staff members. Perhaps the standout milestone has been our successful expansion and embrace of e-commerce platforms, coupled with strategic marketing initiatives like celebrity collaborations and influencer partnerships. These efforts have allowed us to reach new audiences while maintaining our focus on bespoke tailoring. Gargee Designer’s four-decade journey stands as a testament to both tradition and innovation, and I am proud of our growth and position as an influential menswear brand.
