General Manager Wenzhou Changs Machinery
We want to export screen printing machines to more Asian countries
A specialist in manufacturing printing machines, Wenzhou Changs Machinery also maintains a cooperative relationship with colleges, universities and R&D institutes. General manager Spring Chang elaborates on the extensive use of digital printing machines in today's world.
What technologies is your company into?
We are a 12-year-old company and supply screen-printing technologies. For the last two years, we have been offering digital printing machines. We have also been able to integrate screen and digital printing technologies. A good number of companies now use digital printing machines. To print on dark coloured fabrics, you would need a white-based ink. But white digital ink is very expensive. So, companies do screen printing for the white base and after that they digitally print the fabric. We offer printheads from Sapphire or Epson as per the requirement of the buyer, beginning with two heads and onwards. We supply two-pass, four-pass and six-pass machines. We do not manufacture single-pass machines.
To how many countries do you export?
We export our screen-printing technologies even to European countries like France, Portugal, Sweden and Italy, besides Asian countries. Since we started producing digital machines just two years back, we are now exporting to Indonesia only.
What are your company's plans for 2019?
We want to export screen printing machines to more Asian countries. For digital printers, we first want to increase market share in Indonesia and then move to bigger markets like India, etc.
Is your company participating at ITMA Barcelona?
We want to take part, but we did not get a stall.(RR)
