What can be said for cotton fibre market movements in India and globally?

Many expectations and analysis are coming through. However, things are not in our control. The situation is crazy which no body has seen ever in history.

There is shortage of fibre in the world, and definitely the fibre demand is increased in the market. The sales everywhere in US and Europe have gone up in retail, so the buying has increased, and overall world inventory level has come down because this year there has been very adverse climatic conditions impacting raw materials-feedstock all over the world.

It started from Pakistan having floods then it went to US with Texas having snowfall, North China having snowfall, India having the longest tenure of rain going till October- November, and finally to add -Australia also had floods.

There has been a great damage of crops and at the same time there has been an increase in the demand. It’s been a double impact.

Trade Policies are the major problem in India.
