Job Description

Plan and control quality
Carry out the responsibilities of Management Responsibilities.
Formulating inspection and test plan at various stages of production.
Review of in process and final non-conforming products and initiating disposition
Attend quality complaints
Prepare monthly report and submit to the management
Plan and control all the testing instruments
Research and development through trial runs and facilitating for all round improvement.
Arrange for checking of items which affect quality such as packing materials.
Focus on improvement of yarn realization and GPS
Identification and evaluation of aspects related to QAD
Identification and evaluation of OHS hazards related to QAD
Implementation of activities in EMPs pertaining to QAD.
Implementation of activities in OHS programmes pertaining to QAD.

GHCL Ltd. was incorporated in the year 1983 as Gujarat Heavy Chemicals Limited with the objective of manufacturing Soda Ash, an industrial chemical.
The plant was commissioned in April 1988 at Sutrapada, Gujarat which was the largest joint sector company in the Country at that time. Apart from this it's a place next to Daman for personal rejuvenation and just 2 hrs away from Mumbai.
