Search for career opportunities Merchandiser (MM) for Bags Merchandiser (MM) - Bags To keep your work fun and interesting, you will be performing a range of different activities which include: Analyse the requests (developments / quotation) to be sure that all details are clear from Buying Office. Identify the purpose of development / value driver in order to make suggestion to buyers. Distribute developments / quotations to best suitable Production Office according to strategy and market capability. Ensure the information given to other markets are adequate and relevant which enhance the working efficiency. Collect developments / quotation samples from Production Offices and evaluate and select the best global deal together with the team Drive and follow up the developments of components / products (Coordinate with other offices to give components suggestion) Send best options to buyer to review and comment Secure hand over process with full package to Production Office when market choice is confirmed Provide feedback to markets about dropped developments quotations Seek knowledge about production market capability, skills and capacity and make constant risk analysis on product level Make risk assessment in development stage to take necessary actions to reach the best product Write split orders based on landed cost opportunities Who will you work with In this role you will join a dynamic and energetic team based in New Delhi, India. Reporting to the Business Development Manager, you will interact regularly with our Bags Global team, external suppliers, our Buying Office in Sweden as well as your peers within Supply Chain both locally and across the Globe. We really want you to join our team if: You have a degree, even better if its related to the garment / textile industry You have at least6 - 9 years of experience in a similar role Working experience in bags industry is preferable. Knowledge of components (eg. natural fabric, synthetic fabric / leather, metal hardwareetc.) will be an advantage. Good knowledge about production markets concerning price, quality, capacity ,capabilities and lead time Strong knowledge of Buying Office Supply Chain set up, product development purchasing process, working methods and timeline Strong price knowledge Knowledge about brand / concept / customer, interpret it to stakeholders.
