Job Description
Handling routine accounting which includes supervision of accounting entries passed into SAP system.Scrutiny of G/L on a regular basis and correcting wrong entries passedMonitoring T/B from system and applying sanity checksPreparation of Financial statements like Profit & Loss a/c, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow statement, Ratio analysis at end of every month/quarter/year end periods ;Doing daily banking and funds transfer work and corresponding entriesKeeping the banks recos upto dateHandling statutory and internal auditorsHandling tax audits and taxationMonitoring Accounts receivables and payablesMonitoring Govt. dues and following with other Internal Dept. for its recovery on timeMonitoring slow moving and non-moving stocks and taking action on time to contain it at the lowest levelsSupervising factory accounts and keep it up to dateEnsuring timely payments of all statutory and Govt.duesEnsuring statutory compliances and adhering with them in timeSupervising Capex and capitalization of assets, preparation of dockets of capitalizations and making relevant entries into SAPMonitoring Assets transfer within company and taking inventory of assets at the end of every year and updating book records as per physical balances
