Job Description
To make the check list of all the machines /equipments properly defined based on manufacturer recommendation.To schedule the Preventive Maintenance structure for all machines on monthly basis in co-ordination with production department.Check daily maintenance log book of workers.Take round of whole plant and check all m/c if any abnormal sound, any air leakage then take corrective action accordingly.To follow the Preventive Maintenance schedule for all machines on monthly basis in co-ordination with user.Check the machine when PM is going on.Supervise the workers while attending the breakdownsCheck the quality of spares and give the suggestion to re-plan the PM check list based on breakdowns to reduce the re-occurrence.Analyze the utility consumption.Analyze the cost of utility for generation and take action plan to reduce it.To make and update the data related to preventive maintenance in system and maintained hard copy where ever it is required.To check the machine for effective working after the completion of PM.To check and generally follow to the critical area such as fire hydrant in the section, tube lights cleaning and smoke detectors on monthly basis.Collect the PM history and analyze the spare parts consumed and reason of failure.Assist the general work of the department and follow up the daily work status of section.To ensure the breakdown attended timely and effectively.To initiate and suggest towards cost reduction in power/ spare consumption.
