Assist in identifying specific trends, styles, materials, colour palettes, patterns & cut for the collections.Need to have good experience in Ethnic wear, ability to develop season wise ranges,extensive knowledge of Embroideries, textures and patternsKnowledge and experience working with pattern makers, sample makers, technical designersProficiency in Contemporary surface ornamentation techniques and printsDesigner who has knowledge of jaipur art, they should be able to make traditional designs with modern fusion, they should know how to play with prints and gota. they should be expert in hand embroideryFashion MerchandiserQuality control and management of workers.Co-ordination with suppliers.Ensuring timely supply of raw materials, accessories and trims as per requirement of production and sampling.Playing the role of an intermediary between production department, designing department and quality department.To maintain the record of all the stocks handed over to you
