Job Description
Interact with concerned departments to get the required fabric and accounts department to settle bills.Do a follow up of Costing for fabric and make arrangements for development of the fabric in mills, Collect designs from market to present it to buyers .Enquire on technical specifications, count and constructions, cost/meter, production lead time and technical problems, Visit Mills to ensure production is flowing as per requirement.Do follow up on Initial negotiation, initial merchants approvals on color, pattern and design, fabric flows and deliveriesFollow up on Pre production approvals through merchants, bulk production, lot approvals and shade approvals.Plan for the necessary mode of transportation depending on the quantity / buyer requirement(Air, Train , Sea or Road)To make efficient use of resourcesTo strategies innovative ideas to simplify process and make it more efficientTo generate MIS/ FCR reports and provide the same to the concerned departments.
