Job Description

Conduct time study, motion study and prepare norms for new and existing products process to familiar with line balancing
Lead time study of existing lines and reduction plan.
Reporting capacity utilization of all line to factory manager
Control and update shop floor layout.
Design and layout planning for efficient working of lines and process.
Working on assembly balancing lines.
Monitoring and improvement of productivity indexes.
Responsible for material handling, material flow and safety activities.
Implement a fixed repeating schedule with integration of kanban for bulk manufacturing and packaging to reduce Scheduling variability and schedule adherence.
Continuous support to technical team.
Coordinate 5s activities for the plant.
Improving methods for the different operations to reduce operational time
Identifying the training needs for the entire company and coordinating of training programmes.

Eligibility Criteria

MBA or Textile Engineer with relevant experience of 5 to 10 years.
Candidate should have hands on experience in rough cut capacity planning (rccp).
Candidate should be familiar with lean manufacturing concepts.
Candidate should have knowledge of systematic problem solving, good exposure to kaizen and poke yoke.
Candidate should have experienced in machine selection and machine purchase for new project.
Candidate should have good understanding of business logic and ability to work on budget planning of new project with getting the payback period of project.
