Job Description

Yearly, monthly & daily lean activities planning & execution.
Manage a team of 5 members.
Plan & execute lean training to members.
Evaluate shop floor 5's' condition & suggest improvement.
Drive continuous improvement throughout the factory (kaizen & qcc).
Value stream mapping & improvement planning based on study.
Pull system establishment & sustenance using unit hanging system.
Design visual controls for normal/abnormal visualization.
Drive tpm (total productive management) activities plant wide.

Key Skill

  • QCC, Kaizen, Lean, Textile, Industrial Engineering, TPM, Planning, Planning.

Eligibility Criteria

  • B.Tech / M.Tech in fashion technology or Industrial Engineering or Industrial Production with relevant experience of 4 to 9 years in lean activities in engineering field.
    Candidate should have Lean tool implementation capability and knowledge.
    Candidate should have good communication skill in Kannada and English.
    Candidate should have capability of project management and team management.

Laguna Clothing is a 50:50 joint venture between Group Tessile Monti SPA of Italy, and Aquarelle, of Mauritius.

Laguna's Objective is to provide European Quality formal and semi formal shirts, at Asian Prices to top retailers and Brands across the world.
Two factories are near Bangalore and city office is in Bangalore. Laguna uses fabric from Monti, as well as Indian and Chinese mills, such as Honnegar India, Hammerle India, Morarji, Arvind and Lu Thai.

Production started in May 2006, current output 200,000 to 250,000 units/month.
March 2012 turnover Rs. 170 Crore, Profits 10 Crores. Consistently profitable since inception.
