Job Description

Taking over a project at pre-BO stage and being involved in all aspects up to snagging and hand over of store to Head of Stores.
Checking all drawings.
Amendments / improvements to drawings – installation.
Visiting sites. Ensuring PnP spec has been followed.
Revamps: Handle all the revamping of stand-alone stores on a 7 year cycle – incorporating store visits, changes to plans, compiling budgets for the scope of works, liaison with the accountant and Head of Stores on all work entailed, ordering all fixtures. Monitor the revamp roll out and follow up with site visits, and snagging.
Liaising with contractors.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Matric. Relevant tertiary qualification is advantageous.
    Computer literacy (Windows, MS Office – Word, Excel, Outlook).
    Fully orientated with store planning and operations for all clothing store formats.
    Have an understanding of in-store dynamics and the role of the support office store planning department.
    Background in store readiness and new store opening process would be an advantage.
    Sound numerical ability.
    Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
    Strong planning, organization and multitasking skills – ability to put systems and structures in place.
    Conscientious, thorough, accurate and attention to detail.
    Sense of urgency, enthusiasm and high energy levels.
    Motivation, self-confidence and use of initiative.
    Team player who is results driven.
    Reliable and flexible with tasks and hours.
    Willingness and ability to undertake physical hand-on tasks.
    Good interpersonal and communication skills.
    Willingness and driven to develop further.
