Job Description

Job involves ensuring safety of property and person from industrial accidents
Help in preparing health and safety policies, standards and procedures as per standard norms
Ensure the implementation of these policies as desired by the management
Ensuring complete safety at plant and provide support to the plant and project team ensuring that safety related risks are understood, assessed, reduced and development of safe work procedures
Prepare plan to conduct safety audits in plant
Responsible to ensure the best quality of products at all plants that as prescribed, all quality norms are adhered to deliver / produce / manufacture the best quality product.
To ensure compliance & proper documentation of all safety requirements / measures as per The Factories Act 1948 & other applicable acts & rules at all locations through local nodal officer.
To identify safety training needs, ensure / assist in conduct of training programmes, guide on training contents to be covered & proper documentation of training records through local nodal officers
Inculcate SHE awareness among the workforce, implement best industrial practices
Conduct training on use of PPEs, Housekeeping & health issues through pep talks/ tool box meetings etc
Ensure conduct of Fire Drill & checking of various fire & safety equipments and other related machineries as per the frequency defined in Factories Act 1948
