Job Description

Designing / creating samples of uniforms and sourcing of fabrics, accessories, embroiders, embroideries and draping of garment.
Coordinate with senior merchant and production team for running orders & planning for future orders.
Maintain order files and coordinating with Sampling team.
Coordinating with the Buyers on day-day basis.
Designing as per client requirement.
Responsible for new collection development (From sketch to final collection on Rack.)
Coordination with pattern maker, masters and embroiders.
Responsible for getting things done on or before time.
Responsible for timely & smooth execution of orders.
Creating/visualising an idea and producing a design by hand or using computer-aided design (COREL DRAW & CAD).
Keeping up to date with emerging fashion trends as well as general trends relating to fabrics, colors and shapes.
Planning and developing ranges.
Sampling Coordination with factory and out side vendors.
Productions follow ups with factory and out side vendors to ensure on time and quality shipments.
Working with others in the design team, such as buyers and forecasters, to develop products to meet a brief.
Liaising closely with sales, buying and production teams on an ongoing basis to ensure the item suits the customer, market and price points.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Graduate or Diploma in fashion designing with experience of 1 to 5 years for knit garments, knit fabrics, T-shirt printing and fashion designing.
    Candidate must have good verbal and written communication skills in English and should be able to handle international buyers independently.
    Candidate should be able to source new products all across India and also get sampling and production done from them.
