Job Description
Check that the fabric/ non textile raw material procured adheres to the quality standards approved by QC HO (GSM, Yarn count, shrinkage percentage, color fastness, print registration etc)Prepare the QC report as per the prescribed format and submit the same to QC Incharge - PH for approval/ rejection, Check that proto, size set, PP samples, GPT and pilot run samples are as per the guidelines given to the vendor and escalate variances to QC InchargeEnsure that sealed samples are handed over to vendors along with full details, Conduct vendor premise inspection per schedule and submit detailed report to QC Incharge. Provide support in vendor evaluations, Support QC Incharge at PH in resolving complaints on the tracker and following up to ensure closing of complaints by the stores.Ensure that complaint value is within the permissible limits set by the company.Maintain vendor history, factory evaluation and monitor vendor efficiency (production timelines, wastage, quality parameters)Maintenance of all QC related documentation as per the company requirementsMaintain records of all PSC / QC HO and respective PH category merchandiser approvals for product and product accessories
