Sales Strategy (Customer and Geography de-risking) Grow sales for the market by driving resources to attain sales and profitability targets by de-risking customer and geography/location/region concentrationIncrease NSR by focusing on product innovationExecute strategies that ensure maximum profitability (based on EBITDA and NSR, tonnage targets set by COO Home Textiles)Promote the domestic Trident bands by strong marketing activities in the domestic marketIdentify potential customers in the domestic market based on marketing intelligence and study the size and characteristics of the market, and assess the competitive, economic, social and political forces affecting growth or declineOversee and execute sales & marketing infrastructure and processes to access and study all possible enquiries floated in the marketEnsure proper visibility of Trident Limited within a the concerned market to increase brand recallSales Planning and Execution Planning and distribution of sales targets to the sales teamTracking daily sales, performing gap analysis vis--vis targets and take corrective actionsEnsuring achievement of targeted MOM growth and YTD growth targetsExplaining the field force in each market about the Inputs/ Schemes given from HO on each BrandCirculate various tracking reports like DSRs etcResponsible for Commercial aspects of sales stocks, collections and overduesExecution of Below the Line (BTL) activities in the marketCirculate feedback of competition in the marketReview enquiries and requests for proposals (RFPs) and ensure speedy submission of bidsMonitor systems for tracking of enquiriesRespond to enquiries in the domestic marketReview/recommend/suggest pricing depending on the value of the deal and the quantity of purchaseChannel Improvement & Distribution Execute channel strategies and mix, manage the relationships with key channel partners (e.g. agents, modern trade, general trade) to drive profitability and growth (maximize sales realizations) Identify and appoint channel partners covered by Trident after benchmarking the same with other competitors in the area / territory / region / geographyMonitor the performance of the channel partners through periodic reviews and take corrective actions accordinglyCustomer ManagementIdentify and manage a very select group of customers who are high value/ high growth customers for the business across markets, channels and products Hand over account management responsibilities to identified account /sales managers and hand hold them and provide necessary support Attend to customer complaints, if anyEffectively manage business relationships with key customers to grow businessPeople Development: Build a strong team, attract and retain talent in the marketProvide guidance, coaching and mentoring to direct reports Plan and review performance of direct reports and provide developmental inputsIdentify training needs of the team members and ensure that the same is addressed through training programs organized by HRR&R for employee motivation
