Job Description

Provides expertise in end to end product & merchandise management.
Drive growth, and maximize revenue and margin across all gender categories and channels in India.
Sell- Out and Sell In Units and Revenue.
L2L growth.
Product assortment performance.
Retail Inventory ( health of stk via active merchandise and DSI ).
Based on past performance, present/ future fashion trends and competitive scenario identify product drivers of growth, and brief the same as a detailed assortment plan to Product Creation teams. This takes care of requirements for all channels and regions, for all gender categories.
Plan and align seasonal Open to Buys with Trade Partners.
Create & drive processes to ensure partners buy in- line with the product strategy.,Which includes owning the Line Presentation process.
Work with supply planning teams to ensure availability of right product in right quantities at right time.
Equip stores and front end stores to sell the product in consumer centric manner, by providing timely and quality inputs to training and brand presentation teams.
Monitor product level sell thrus across all channels, do timely interventions to drive targeted first quality sellthru & active inventory.
Drive product life cycle management including planning & suggesting price, promotional adjustments for all channels.
Interacts closely with Channel/ Regional Leads for retail activation and to ensure sell through.
Consumer and Trend analysis and feedback into product strategy.
Involve in the development of product strategy, 5year strategic business plans and the annual business plan for Levi s South Asia business.

Strong understanding product and fashion trends.
Ability to analyze data, to understand key trends and drive actions based on a data centric approach.
Ability to understand key consumer insights, thru unstructured qualitative inputs from stores/ channel.
Retail merchandise management, understanding of key levers to drive growth and efficiency.
Ability to work in a Cross functional/ Matrix organizational set up.
Understand and apply global best practices for merchandise management learning from other industries.
Idea generator in the organization.
Strong People management skills, working with both internal and external stakeholders/ trade partners.
