Job Description

Researching, designing and developing trend led womens-wear ranges across various categories
Making new designs / prints as per requirement of client and also as per trends, seasons
Creation of catalogs, brochures, cards etc
Making new collection for exhibitions and trade fairs
Working closely with the design team and external suppliers to inspire and achieve results
Creating / visualizing an idea and producing a design
Keeping up to date with emerging fashion trends as well as general trends relating to fabrics, colors and shapes
Planning and developing ranges
Sourcing, selecting and buying fabrics, trims, fastenings and embellishments, working closely with design team, buyers and forecasters, to develop products
Developing a pattern that is cut and sewn into sample garments and supervising the creation of these, including fitting, detailing and adaptations

Eligibility Criteria

  • Graduate or Post graduate with relevant experience of 2 to 5 years
    Certification in designing is compulsory
    Candidates having experience in scarves background would be preferred
    Candidate should be able to work on coral draw and adobe photoshop
    Candidate should be able to do layers ( color separation ) and multiple pattern
    Candidate should be skilled in themes / concepts / research mood boards / styling products, innovative collections, color development, co-ordination and print development
    Candidate should be able to achieve targets given and should be super creative individual with an eye for detail
    Candidate should have versatile work portfolio that can adapt to various product areas and ability to identify and interpret trends into commercial ranges that are synonymous with the brand
    Candidate should be happy to work in partnership with this close knit design team to achieve results and the brand vision
