Job Description

Formulate long term growth strategy for Yarn business in line with overall Group vision.
Develop a clear product-market strategy to build competitive advantage in Yarn business resulting in higher NSR and EBITDA margins
Identify new avenues of growth for the Yarn business - Organic & Inorganic
Work in close collaboration with Group Strategy team to identify inorganic growth opportunities M&As, JVs/Alliances in Yarn business
Ensure achievement of annual business goals financial, customer & operational
Translate strategy into robust & clearly defined business plans for long term
Mobilize resources (People, Process & Technology) to achieve the business plan
Review business performance against defined targets and suggest corrective action, if required
Identify performance roadblocks within the business and prioritise areas which need to be addressed
Set adequate systems and processes and develop operational and support teams
Build/ Sustain relationships at the highest level with key customers & suppliers
Participate in reputed industry forums/conferences/events & key customer/ supplier meets with a view to increase visibility of the business and strengthen the Trident Brand
Manage key investors to build market confidence and relationships that can be leveraged in the future.
Drive product innovation in the Yarn business
Drive the development of a healthy pipeline of innovative premium products
Ensure complete adherence to the activities & timelines of the branding process
Act as catalyst to drive business improvement initiatives in Textiles business
Guide process excellence initiatives - Commercial/ Manufacturing/ Industrial
Provide guidance, coaching and mentoring to direct reports & key talents
Employee Engagement within the business
Revenue & EBITDA from new products/ customers
Productivity Enhancement
Compliance Index Statutory Regulations
