Job Description

National Sales Manager(Channel Sales Background)
Building strong network through Distributor channel across the country. Managing Channel Sales with frequent rotation in effective replenishment model of distribution.
Owning relevant parameters for mass coverage & revenue generation while keeping the operational cost reductions across all brand portfolio
Appointments, Replacements & corrections of Distributors. Monitoring of Sales portfolio, category wise and Distributor wise (A.O.P vs YTD & L.Y.)
Identification, evaluation and appointment of new channel partners (Distributor/Retailers). Analyse and appoint area wise distributors/Stockiest as per shortlist by respective Regional Managers.
Achieve satisfactory profit/loss ratio and market share in relation to preset standards and industry and economic trends.
Ensures effective control of marketing results, and take corrective action to guarantee that achievement of marketing objectives falls within designated budgets.
Monitor competitor products, sales and marketing activities. Establishes and maintains relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners.
Establish and maintain a consistent corporate image throughout all product lines, promotional materials, and events.
Prepare periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
Develop sales goals and accordingly plan visits, continuously travel to PAN India locations to enlarge territory sales and also closely motivate Sales teams for firm target achievements.
Coaching, inspiring, supporting and disciplining employees; Communicating job expectations; Planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions;enforcing policies and procedures; Select region wise Sales teams and clearly devise Sales policies and targets.
Setting distributor and outlet claims (within stipulated time frame). Efficiency tracking of all the investments and promotions in all the outlets.
Appointment of DSR, Sales Force by identifying gap and for optimizing width & depth of Distribution.
Monitor results on weekly /Monthly basis to determine deviations from plans and take necessary corrective actions.
