Intertek to participate in A+A expo 2017

Intertek, a leading provider of assurance, testing, inspection, and certification solutions for customers’ operations and supply chains, is set to partake in the A+A expo, to be held from October 17 to 20, 2017, in Dusseldorf, Germany, in booth 70E21, hall 7. The A+A expo, held every two years, is the largest expo in safety, security, and health at work.

Intertek will join the other 1,900 exhibitors at A+A Expo 2017, bringing its total quality solutions to Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) professionals, suppliers, buyers, and retailers. Over the years, the company has gained solid experience and know-how in PPE design, manufacturing process, selection of materials, and market compliance. From testing to certification, Intertek offers one-stop services and consultations on PPE categories like protective clothing, safety footwear, protective gloves, and shin guards.

According to the latest research by European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA) and the International Labour Organisation (ILO), the cost of work-related injury and illness is estimated to be around €2,680 billion worldwide. Occupational safety has become one key topic that corporate leaders and business owners should address properly within their corporations. (GK)
